First Day of School: August 29 (dismiss @ 11:30a)

Labor Day:  September 3 School Closed

Columbus Day:  October 8 School Closed

Veteran's Day:  November 12 School Closed

Thanksgiving Break: November 22 through 27

Christmas Break:  December 21 through January 2

Martin Luther King Day:  January 21 School Closed

Easter Break: March 28 through April 1 

Taste of the Valley Fundraiser: April 25 at Fiorelli's 5:30pm

Kindergarten and 8th Grade Graduation: May 24

Last Day of School:  May 29

 

Overview

This calendar provides 180 Pupil Days and 4 Snow Days.  If more than four snow days are required, holiday breaks may be shortened or days may be added past the above "Last Day of School".

If emergency conditions require The Geneva Christian School to close beyond the provisions indicated in the established calendar, the school year may be extended beyond the closing date.
